FRIENDS IN CHINA WORK HARD TO FULFILL WISHES
Manos volunteers in China wrapped and sold apples to raise funds, affectionately calling them "Christmas Apples." Volunteers also circulated a "Love Package" (a donation envelope) asking 100 people to donate 2 Yuan or 30 cents. Together, these fundraisers brought in 945 Yuan or $150!
Joining in effort to fulfill wishes this season was Huo Weifeng from Guangzhou China, donating ¥1,000/$160 and Zhang Yanxia of Beijing giving ¥500/$80 to help fulfill the final wishlist gift. Xie Xie (Thank You) to all our China friends!
MIAMI & CALI MOVE MANOS
East coaster Pamela Escobar of Miami pledged a $5/month donation to help support much needed utensils for the children, while on the West Coast, Victor La showed his support through a $5 monthly donation towards hand sanitizer. for the children. A big coast to coast "Thank You" on behalf of the children of Manos!
THE VALUE OF AN IN-KIND GIFT
Recognizing the the need for supplies at our Manos centers, Melinda Ruby donated a printer ($50) & pledged a laptop ($300) to the Winter Wishlist drive. Thank you Ms. Ruby for your wonderful support!
