Volunteers first began making donations drops in this small bricklaying community in 2001. This poor border-town is
located in the boulder-filled mountains between Tecate and Tijuana just across the border. These efforts soon became
focused on education; and as support mounted, a community center was built with the great labor of the men, women
and children of the community itself.
