Manos Internacional China

Manos China is growing larger by the day in the ongoing effort to share cultures, ideas,
and education internationally. Today, kids in the small farming village of Zhuang Tou
attend their own Manos Community Center, where classes in English are offered among
many other amenities and activities. Manos China is also partnered with a Middle
School, providing monthly “English Corners” where more than 100 students speak with
native English speakers in a casual setting to practice their English. In addition,
programs have also been brought to the remote mountain village of Pingshan.

Compañera Shirley Yang serves as the director of
Manos programs in China. She is working hard
to provide children of remote areas with activities
and educational opportunities that they
otherwise would not have access to.

Manos China's team of volunteers serve in so
many ways. They serve as teachers, coaches,
event coordinators, mentors, translators, and so
much more. They are sharing ideas, cultures,
and education not only with the children of
China, but with the world.
